With its mahogany back and sides, the Atlas AJ250/SM-12 12-String Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar boasts a warmer sound than the AJ250/SF-12 Plus, with its flamed maple construction. It has the all the shimmering, chiming sound you'd expect from a large-bodied, 12-string guitar. The bold and resonant sound comes from a solid Sitka spruce top, specially sculpted bracing, and the JLD Bridge Truss system. Ivoroid body and neck binding, rosewood headstock overlay, and abalone accents make it a knock-out package. Fishman Classic 4 electronics let you plug in anywhere and sound great.

Each spectacular instrument in the Atlas Series is designed and engineered to attain these same qualities at an accessible price. They feature scalloped bracing, a pinless bridge, dual-action truss rod, and the JLD Bridge Truss System. The bridge, fingerboard, and peghead overlay on each model is made from Indian rosewood and tops are crafted from solid wood. They have an ebony end pin, dovetail neck joint, and a slightly narrower nut (1-11/16"). All models have the same low string action for fast, comfortable playing. They're all set up and hand-inspected at Breedlove headquarters and come strung with light-gauge D'Addario EXP strings.
